Danish cartoon controversy

Is the entire nation united against a single cause, or is it just a handful of Muslims who voice their opinions while others just sit and watch? Here i talk about the Danish cartoon controversy which has raised cries of anger among Muslims all over the world. When we say that Danish products should be boycotted, do we not mean by the whole of Dubai, it being a Muslim country, if not by Muslims all over the world?

I bring these questions up because even though we have boycotted Danish products in the supermarket, they are still being distributed in Dubai. During a recent trip to Pakistan, on the country's national airline, I was disgusted, if not horrified, to see Danish food products on my lunch tray. I assume that the food was catered by a catering company in Dubai as the food I received while travelling back from Pakistan was all locally produced, and by local I obviously mean in Pakistan. If that is the case, then, again I am assuming here, the catering company does not have any Muslims working there, and if it does, than that group of Muslims does not care.

Is it not outrageous that while most Muslims across the Middle East attempt to stifle the supply of money to Denmark, other Muslims openly participate in distributing their products?

Even though i do not support the violent ways of some Muslims, Islam being a peaceful religion, I think that we all should atleast 'try' to force Denmark to apologise to us. This is not a matter which can be forgiven, but there is not much else we can expect in return either as Denmark does not really have much to offer us.

I finish off by saying that all my fellow Muslims, please look inside yourselves and also try to remember the teachings of the Holy Quran and the teachings of our Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.). Abstain from violence, while at the sametime showing the rest of the world that they can not push us around and neither can they hold us down. Problems can be solved by means other than violence as well. Do not forget your anger, but do not let it rule your heart and mind either. We shall in the end get victory, but hopefully, not by violent means. Till then all my Muslim brothers and sisters, walk with your heads held up high, a smile on your face and love in your heart, and make the Muslim world proud.

This man speaks truth. Shut up. Cutting products really is affecting them. Simply because you people do not wish to defend your beliefs does not mean you should expect the same as us.

Keep going Birdy, Rock On!! \m/
